Historical Curiosities
The Tomb of the Diver is an artefact of the funerary art of Magna Greece of significant historical-artistic value, the only testimony of painting Greek figurative and non-vascular. The walls of the building and the covering slab itself are entirely plastered and decorated with wall painting of a figurative subject, created with the fresco technique. The man is represented in the act of diving into a stream, this scene probably symbolizes the passage from life to death.
